The Miller family places a premium on the “family” experience and a strong support system. As a family unit, they have always opened their hearts to help others. Starting a foundation to help even more people has been a family goal for many years, and now that goal has become a reality through the Team Miller Foundation, established on June 1, 2023.

As a child, Brandon Miller never wanted to see anyone on the street go hungry. This genuine concern for the welfare of others remained throughout childhood. Now, as a young man who has achieved his lifelong dream of becoming a professional basketball player and a 2023 NBA first-round pick (#2 overall), Brandon is committed to serving others through the Team Miller Foundation.

AREAS OF IMPACT

The Team Miller Foundation is focused on the following areas to promote the growth, support, and empowerment of the community:

  Assist organizations and individuals in areas categorized as food deserts or needing assistance with food insecurity.
• Health
  Bring awareness and provide resources for regular screenings and checkups to promote a healthy community.
• Education
  Promote educational empowerment with back-to-school drives, participation and attendance incentives, and scholarship opportunities.
• Sports
  Provide opportunities and support for the local community via camps, events, equipment support, and financial assistance for participation.
